you tube, alt country, and politics
I want you to know I came upon this while searching for you tube videos of the Meat Purveyors, not by searching for a way to be hateful.
Mean spirited? Yes. Lacking completely in any sort of constructive value? Yes. Delightful? Yes. [warning: one small bad word toward the end-- maybe more but I didn't hear them]
The Meat Puveyors’ Look on your Face.
great minds
It’s no secret that my marriage is somewhat shaky… although perhaps I overdramatize, I don’t know. Anyway.
We were headed out to Cuco’s last night for a farewell dinner with the kids. The bluegrass show was on the local NPR affiliate. My husband and I were in the middle of a conversation when the DJ came on to read the titles and artists of the last few songs. Suddenly we heard, “I Bought the Shoes that Walked Out On Me.” My husband and I simultaneously looked at each other and said, “Oooooooo.” Insult, injury, waste of money– we agreed it was the perfect country song. My husband giggled about it for several more blocks.
